Before a relief distribution reaches residents, supplies have to be gathered, loaded and organised for transport. This selection from the Dharali relief archive records that preparation stage.

The photographs show packed ration sacks and cartons inside vehicles, team members beside the loaded transport and supplies being arranged in a truck. Relief banners identify the Dharali programme and the organisations named on the vehicles.

This story is about preparation and loading. Distribution is shown separately in other photo stories from the archive. Keeping these stages distinct gives supporters a clearer view of how relief work moves from collected goods towards local handovers, with each stage recorded in its own context.
