A community distribution starts before the handover. These photographs from the winter outreach collection show ration sacks stacked beside a building, cartons being opened and team members lifting supplies into position.

Keeping goods together makes it easier to bring a bag to the person collecting it. The gallery follows that work at the distribution point, including assistance beside the sacks and cartons. This is the preparation side of the winter programme also documented in our blanket and ration handover stories.

Dev Bhoomi Samiti’s food-support work includes this practical effort as well as direct interaction with residents. The photographs record the handling of supplies; they do not establish how many days each household’s food needs were covered.
