A shared meal brings together food preparation, serving and the simple act of sitting alongside others. This sequence from Dev Bhoomi Samiti’s archive shows children and adults eating in a covered community space.

Volunteers move between the seated rows with serving containers. The photographs show food being offered directly to people at their plates, along with wider views of the gathering. Families, children and older participants share the same meal setting.

The story records the meal visible in these photographs. The wider photographs and close views of serving show how volunteers and participants share the community space. The photo date comes from the camera record and is kept separate from the date the story was published online.
